Abstract

This handbook examines the efficacy of various psychotherapies for the treatment of mental disorders in light of the results of treatment outcome research. Specific disorders are reviewed, indicating which treatments appear to get the best outcomes. Current controversial issues surrounding treatment efficacy are included.
