Abstract

Automatic measurement of repolarization duration is highly prone to errors. The paper is focused on the problem of ECG noise suppression prior to the measurement. Two methods are compared: the traditional linear lowpass filtering and the projective filtering of the time aligned ECG beats. The performed experiments show that the projective filtering has much stronger impact on the precision of the measurements. © 2008 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
