Abstract

Although the incidence of breast cancer is increasing in the last 10 years, the mortality rate was reduced by 20% due to the earlier tumor diagnosis (more and more frequently nonpalpable intraepithelial neoplasia) and to improved therapies, tailored to each single patient.
