The millipede fauna of the Republic of North Macedonia presently includes 67 species from 33 genera, 15 families and seven orders. As many as 12 and 19 species, or ca. 18% and 28% of all records, are endemic to North Macedonia and the Balkan Peninsula, respectively. The most speciose families are Julidae, with 29 species, or 43%, followed by Polydesmidae with 16 species, or 24%. Hirudisoma hirsutum (Verhoeff, 1901) and Brachydesmus cristofer Strasser, 1966 are new to the millipede fauna of North Macedonia. The distribution pattern and maps are given for each species.
