Abstract

The article generally discusses the occurrence of organics in and removal of from water supplies. It addresses specific types of organics found in water supplies without formalizing them into structured chemical classifications. Subjects covered include natural organics, synthetic organics such as pesticides and repellants, trihalomethanes, and treatment methods such as aeration and adsorption.
