Abstract

Image fusion is performed after a supreme step of image registration and it is a consolidative display method of two or more images which can improve the quality of an image. This paper presents the implementation and comparison among the image fusion discrete wavelet transform techniques that are SWT, DDB2WT, SIDWT, and DT-CWT. The performance comparison of these techniques are evaluated with the help of PSNR, RMSE, PFE, CF, RF, and SF metrics and concluded that DT-CWT gives better results among them.
