ANALISIS KEMAMPUAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS BERDASARKAN GAYA BELAJAR SISWA SMP

Abstract

This study generally aims to analyze and describe learning styles in solving questions about the mathematical understanding ability of class VIII students on the subject of triangles. This research was conducted at class VIII D in Dharma Siswa Middle School, Tangerang City. The subjects of this study were 3 students out of 30 students in class VIII D who received the highest scores for each learning style, namely visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles by working on concept comprehension questions. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation and documentation supported by measurement techniques in this study, namely test instruments and questionnaires. The results showed that: (1) students with a visual learning style had a score of 23 and a concept comprehension test score of 89.2; (2) students with an auditory learning style have a score of 24 and a concept understanding test score of 89.2; (3) students with a kinesthetic learning style have a score of 23 and a concept comprehension test score of 82.1 ABSTRAKPenelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan gaya belajar salam menyelesaikan soal kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa kelas VIII pokok bahasan segitiga. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Dharma Siswa Kota Tangerang kelas VIII D. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 siswa dari 30 siswa kelas VIII D yang memperoleh penilaian skor tertinggi masing-masing gaya belajar yaitu gaya belajar visual, auditori dan kinestetik dengan mengerjakan soal pemahaman konsep. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi dengan didukung teknik pengukuran dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) siswa dengan gaya belajar visual memiliki skor 23 dan Nilai tes pemahaman konsep 89,2; (2) siswa dengan gaya belajar auditori memiliki skor 24 dan nilai tes pemahaman konsep 89,2; (3) siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik memiliki skor 23 dan nilai tes penahaman konsep 82,1.
