The Road From Millennium Development Goals to Sustainable Development Goals by 2030

Abstract

The article presents a shift of goals from millennium development goals to sustainable development goals that are to be achieved by the United Nations by the year 2030. It also discusses the origins and the works of "Affilia" the Journal of Women and Social Work. It further discusses issues like maternal mortality, gender-based violence and child marriage.
