Abstract

The major issue that institutions of technical and vocational training corporation (TVTC) are currently facing is inefficient management of information. In this context, the application of OBE entails the provision of several portfolios to students and they are used to generate daily information, with records stored as transaction evidence. Studies in literature on e-portfolio system framework in the education sector, and particularly the TVTC, are still few and far between and their extent failed to cover the determination of the factors that influence the system’s adoption. Therefore, in this paper, the main significant factors might influence e-portfolio adoption among TVTC institutions were identified, on the basis of which, a framework was developed and proposed in order to facilitate technology adoption and enhance outcomes.
