Abstract

Semantic web services have been studied during last years as an extension of Service-Oriented Computing on the Web 2.0. A lot of effort has been made to address some problems such as service discovery, matchmaking or service composition. Nevertheless, there is not much work in the literature about how to integrate trust into the process of selecting service providers. In this paper, an abstract architecture with a trust-based recommender module is presented, and a case study is put forward explaining how to apply the architecture to implement an agent in a mobile device. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
