Abstract

The oneM2M means intelligent information infra that handles information collected between things or between things and human, which has combined communication with ICT technology and has been utilized in many areas such as state information of remote thing, vehicle and human. The working group 3, in particular, has defined the message exchange protocol between entities (oneM2M Primitive), the oneM2M core protocol to handle an error and the binding between core protocol and transport layer protocol –CoAP, HTTP, MQTT-The protocol binding means one or more than one interfaces are combined between different kinds of protocols, which require a translation protocol to translate the interfaces of different kinds of protocols. In this paper, the protocol translation interface defined by the oneM2M standard is going to be discussed. The current documents of the one M2M-TS-008(CoAP Protocol Binding), TS-009(HTTP Protocol Binding), TS-010(MQTT Protocol Binding) have focused on the option mapping between the oneM2M Primitive and binding protocols. The researcher is going to extend the simple message mapping considering the similar service mapping between protocols, and present the extended Primitive and Binding Function. Finally, the expected benefits and examples are going to be discussed.
