Abstract

Tunable, coherent, vacuum UV radiation from 4-wave sum mixing in Mg, Zn, and Hg vapors yielded spectroscopic consts. for Xe2, Kr2, and Ar2. The exptl. techniques are applicable to the whole family of rare gas dimers and their mixts., as well as other van der Waals mols. [on SciFinder (R)]
