Bollig examines the poetry of Andi Nachon—in particular, her use of novel forms of address, especially apostrophe, and references to popular culture, including rock music and skateboarding, to fashion poems that are spaces less for individual expression and more for contact and mutual exchange. Her work, with its portrayals of wandering in the city, is set against the backdrop of contemporary urbanism in Argentina and contrasts against those practices that have come to be known as psychogeography. The chapter looks at the non-lyric tendencies in her work, and their links to her experiments in artisanal and illustrated poetry books. Bollig concludes that Nachon’s poetry militates for openness to the other.
