Abstract

This symposium deals with the basic mechanisms that cause cells in developing organisms to form patterns and to generate parts and organs in the correct sequence and form. Much of this work will provide the basis for future research on the genetic and molecular aspects of cell patterning. Geneticists, developmental biologists, neurophysiologists and biochemists will find the book of interest.
