Abstract

In a painstaking Ortiz on analysis of all the Protests in the world from 2006 to 2020. It was reported that even the pandemic could not stop social movement by agitators. It was found that the job crisis during the COCID-19 pandemic also contributed to the number of protests during the pandemic in 2020. The analysis showed that a total of 2,899 coordinated protests occured between years 2006 and 2020. Findings of the study revealed that there was a total of 251 different protests only in 2020 despites the existence of the pandemic. It was the same 2020 when the largest coordinated protests in history occured in India with over250 millions protesters. The researchers reported that the cause of the protests in India was because of the plan of government to liberalize labor and farming in the country.
