Abstract

In this work, we introduce multimedia service and management architecture, constructed by using a generic component model. The multimedia service and management components are instantiated in order to derive specific connection core service and management components. Component interactions between the service and management planes across the management layers are developed for service access phase. Connection service primitives and their corresponding AHs have been developed. A CORBA/JAVA style software architecture is designed for the service creation interactions between customer and value added service provider.
