Salud mental y desgaste ocupacional en el personal de salud del IMIEM durante la pandemia de SARS-CoV-2

Abstract

RESUMEN Investigación a nivel interinstitucional con respecto al tema del estrés en las personas servidoras públicas del Instituto Materno Infantil del Estado de México (IMIEM). Los expertos coinciden en que, en México, 40% de la plantilla de salud que atendió a pacientes con coronavirus exhibe síntomas de estrés postraumático y depresión. Para la presente investi-gación se utilizaron dos instrumentos: el inventario de burnout de Maslach, midiendo con éste el síndrome de burnout y el General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28) el cual detecta cambios en la función normal del paciente. Los resultados arrojan que el grupo de edad que despliega la manifestación de burnout se encuentra entre los 41 y 50 años, mostrando al género femenino con mayor participación en este estudio, siendo mayormente enfermeras. Experts agree that, in Mexico, 40% of health personnel who cared for patients with coronavirus have symptoms of post-traumatic stress and depression. For this study, two instruments were used: the Maslach Burnout Inventory, measuring the burnout syndrome and the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28) which detects changes in the patient's normal function. The results show that the age group with burnout syndrome is between 41 and 50 years old, showing the female gender with the greatest participation in this study, being mostly nurses. International statistics are corroborated where the symptoms presented in the personnel agree with Citar como: Serna RL, Escobar CMC, Arellano CRR, Alcántara DJRR, Mendoza DJG.
