Abstract

Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer related death in Poland. About 85% of all lung cancer constitutes non-small cancer (NSCLC), in which the role of cytotoxic and molecularly targeted drugs is increasing. This article presents the current evidence- based recommendations for the use of these methods in clinical practice in NSCLC and malignant pleural mesothelioma. © 2014 PTChP.
