Abstract

I show that detection of pancreatic lipase in serum by radial enzyme diffusion, when used in conjunction with amylase clearance/creatinine clearance ratio and alkaline phosphatase isoenzyme determination, provides a diagnostically meaningful representation of several forms of pancreatic disease.
