Abstract

In this reply to his critics, Andrew Feenberg takes up the issues of the articles in the volume with the intention of clarifying his positions with respect to epistemology, ontology, and methodology. The chapter is divided into three main parts. Part One is devoted to questions of democracy. Its subsections include (1) democracy, (2) environmentalism, and (3) the Internet. Part Two is entitled New World for Old. Its subsections include technoscience and transhumanism. Part Three is entitled Lukácsian Marxism. Its subsections are (1) Reification, (2) Instrumentalizaiton Theory, and (3) On Nature.
