Abstract

In this work we present the development of the tomographic phase microscopy system for 3D refractive index measurement with application for optical fibers and their accessories in workshop or factory conditions. The holographic projections are captured at the output of a compact shearing interferometer module with a significant shear of an object beam. The system can work in vertical and horizontal position. It is versatile and less sensitive to the external conditions, maintaining similar accuracy as the conventional Mach-Zehnder interferometer based system.
