Abstract

McKissock originally described the vertical bipedicle breast reduction that preserves more of the vascular supply to the nipple-areola complex than single pedicle breast reduction. The vascular supply is better and results have symmetrical breasts. The author describes the technique of the bipedicle reduction mammoplasty with the precautions necessary to obtain a good result.
