Abstract

Long titanium oxide nanotubes are fabricated by dissolution and recrystallization. The length of the nanotubes is more than 120 μm and the diameter of the nanotubes is about 50 nm. The resistivity of titanium oxide can be decreased by doping and/or reduction. Long titanium oxide nanotubes are expected for many electrical device applications such as sensor, electrode, FET, photocatalyst, and dye-sensitized solar cell (DSC; Grätzel cells).
