Design of an on-stage incubator

Abstract

The setup involving the implementation of the schematic above is pictured as 'work-in-progress' in Figure 2 with the major components like the incubator chamber, the heating apparatus, the sensors and the remaining circuitry in place. Figure 3 is a screen-shot of the graphical user interface created using the LabVIEW software. Out of the three plots, the top plot displays the raw voltage values from the temperature sensor (white) and the CO2 sensor (red). The data is then split into separate channels and using calibration coefficients provided, converted to temperature values (bottom left) in degrees Celsius and to percentage CO2 values (bottom right). © 2011 IEEE.
