Abstract

The dramatic urban population growth worldwide brings several problems to cities. Urban centers must be prepared to face critical everyday situations and sudden risk events. Information systems play a fundamental role in achieving resilience in cities, allowing quick and effective responses to threatening events. This paper presents a software architecture based on reactive architectures and microservices concepts in order to facilitate applications development in the context of resilient cities.
