Abstract

Cacao plantations are generally considered to be one of the most biologically rich agricultural systems and are assumed to be an important substitute habitat for various biota. This biota includes major and minor pathogens, some of which have been already discussed in various chapters of this book and some of which are epiphytes and some parasites. This chapter discusses the situation and outlook, and control of epiphytes and parasitic plants on cacao.
