Abstract

Pajek is a program for analysis and visualization of large networks.\rIt is based on six data types (network, partition, vector, cluster, permutation and hierarchy) interconnected with a large set of procedures.\rTo provide efficient tools for decomposition of large networks several new subquadratic algorithms were developed and implemented. Pajek also contains a collection of network visualization methods and supports different picture export formats.\rTypical applications include analysis and visualization of molecular graphs, genealogies, collaboration networks, citation networks, internet networks, diffusion networks, etc.
