Abstract

The chapter presents an application of a two-dimensional depth averaged numerical model FESWMS to calculate flow in the Pora{ogonek}bka retention reservoir. The lake in question has complex flow characteristics due to the presence of an outlet of a pumped-storage hydro power plant. Results of sample steady-state and dynamic simulations are shown and discussed.© Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2013.
