Abstract

As the development of the prostate and SV is closely related to that of other genitourinary organs such as kidney, ureter, bladder, urethra, testis, and epididymis, congenital anomalies of the prostate and SV are often associated with anomalies of these organs. Concrete knowledge of the embryology and anatomy is essential for the diagnosis of the anomalies.
