Abstract

Health issuesare finding a special and increasinglycritical place in agricultural debatesand discourse, alongside those pertaining to economic and social risks and the uncertainty of energy transitions. They are directly related to the nature and type of methods used to deal with animal and plant health in agricultural production systems, with familyfarming drawing particular attention. These issues encourage research at various scales, ranging from that of animal and crop species all the way to relevant international governance system.
