Abstract

Virtual Reality (VR) is gaining popularity due to the rapid improvement of computing capabilities. VR refers to a three-dimensional environment created by a computer-generated simulation. The user interacts with the artificially created environment using sensors. The user can explore the virtual world, move in it, and even interact with certain virtual features. This paper describes the early development of a mobile application that uses VR for education. It also reviews VR’s evolution, the possibilities of combining 5G with VR, the application of VR in education, and its potential uses.
