Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student learning outcomes using the TANDUR learning model (Grow, Experience, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat, Celebrate) with the help of visual media in improving science learning outcomes. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation of action, observation and evaluation, as well as reflection. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Madayin. The subjects of the research were fifth grade students in the 2021/2022 school year which involved 27 students. Data about learning outcomes are collected through the implementation of a description test. Furthermore, the data obtained were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the application of the TANDUR learning model assisted by visual media could improve the science learning outcomes of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 1Madayin. The application of the TANDUR Learning Model can improve science learning outcomes for V SD Negeri 1 Madayin class students. This can be seen from the completeness of the learning outcomes before the improvement. The number of students who completed was 8 students out of 27 students or 29.62% and those who had not completed 19 out of 27 students or 70.37%. In the improvement of Cycle I, 18 students out of 27 students or 66.66% had completed and 9 out of 27 students or 33.33% had not completed. After the improvement of Cycle II, 22 students out of 27 students or 81.50% had completed and 5 out of 27 students or 37.03% had not completed. These results indicate that the application of the TANDUR learning model assisted by visual media can improve science learning outcomes for class VI students of SD Negeri 1 Madayin for the 2021/2022 academic year.
