Research in this paper focuses on the generation of a model to quantify CO2 emissions in the implementation of a typical building block for affordable residential housing, derived from the manufacturing process of the materials used in its construction. The identification and quantification of building materials consumed, will reveal the environmental impact of producing the type defined by one of the indicators most relevant environmental impact associated with weight per m2 of construction, such as CO2 emissions resulting from manufacturing process of the construction materials used in its implementation. Its practical application to a set of ten projects located in Seville implementation, will provide conclusive data on the quantification of co2 emissions in its implementation by identifying the greatest environmental impact.
