Abstract

The introduction of the modular course "Fundamentals of religious cultures and secular ethics" into the educational process of primary school actualized the need for training of appropriate personnel. Special academic disciplines were included in the curricula of the bachelor degree in the direction of "Pedagogical education". However, many students studying in this direction, there is a lack of motivation to teach in the school modules of the course "Fundamentals of religious cultures and secular ethics". There is a clear contradiction between targeted training and the reluctance of future teachers to teach in primary schools. Its consequence was the problem of studying the factors of students ' negative attitude to the teaching of the above discipline, the motives for choosing the discipline module, determining the content and methods of professional training that encourage young teachers to teach disciplines of spiritual and moral orientation. In the process of its research such methods as questioning, ranking, conversation were used. The study, conducted at the Department of training of primary school teachers of South Ural State Pedagogical University, identified the attitude of future primary school teachers to the spiritual and moral education of the whole person, to the teaching of the course "Basics of religious cultures and secular ethics" in particular; factors negative attitude of students towards the above-mentioned discipline; motivation for choosing the module of this course. The findings of the study relate to the need to ensure that all blocks of the motive (requirement, block "internal filter", target), introduction to the program content of professional training of didactic units, revealing the purpose of teaching the subject, the characteristics of value-semantic sphere of personality of the younger school student the expected results of the study course "Basics of religious cultures and secular ethics", etc.
