The Arthropoda form a natural phylum. The polyphyletic theories on the origin of Arthropodsare rejected. The Palaeozoic Arthropods form avery' complex assemblage and traditional taxonomic arrangement is inadequate to express theirrelationships. © 1980 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
