Abstract

To realize the most benefit from multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) screening, all nucleic acid amplification test (NAAT)-positive respiratory specimens should be universally tested. Once an MDR-TB diagnosis is established, additional testing is warranted to provide details about the detected mutations.
