Impact of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on Agricultural Sector of Pakistan

Abstract

In current globalization where every country doing war of economy because currently without a stable economy difficult to survive for the states that are why there are many aspects available to strengthen their economies especially for those economies which are developing position because these developing countries has many of the sources to add GDP specially from the agricultural sector like Pakistan. The agricultural sector of Pakistan is always playing a key the role for the economy of Pakistan but since last decade its growth rate is highly disturbed in a declining way. CPEC would open new doors of cooperation in the agriculture sector, which would help in the transfer of technology pertaining to agrochemicals, pesticides, seeds, and fertilizers. Agricultural technologies have been done to get the objectives of this study especially in the frame of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) on agricultural outputs. The result of this paper generated that there is a positive relationship between infrastructure and agricultural outputs including direct proportion to employment and poverty eradication especially with the infrastructure developments of CPEC different projects including energy sector as well, this project have the time duration from 2014 to 2030 including short and long terms projects.
