Abstract

The circuits which consume very low power are on high demand in recent years. It is a key challenge to the circuit developer to design a circuit which results in very low-power consumption. In this paper, active high-pass filters are designed which operates at low voltage and also has very low-power consumption. The filters are designed in Cadence Virtuoso tool using 180 nm CMOS technology at the supply of 1.6 V. Gain and cut-off frequency of the designed filters are determined.
