The crises of the French system of Intermittence prompt to strengthen policies regulating artistic labor markets. The article analyzes the attempt to form a GEIQ (Group of companies for the integration and qualification) for the actors. It describes the often conflicting provisions and interests of the various social actors in the field of theater. However, this device was abandoned despite the fact that it succeeded in strengthening the qualification of actors. Beyond budgetary reasons, this abandonment results from the particular or even antagonistic relationship to employment that characterizes the different members of this field of art.
