Abstract
Methods are described for treating natural water in order to ensure that the condition of boiler feed water and of boiler water complies with the guidelines of German engineering standards. The author discusses the subjects of cooling water treatment and decontamination in nuclear power stations and gives a review of the principal methods of treatment.
