Abstract

Teaching comprehensive geriatric assessment (CGA) is a demanding task which encompasses several levels of difficulty. These include conveying knowledge on the importance of both communication with older persons and technical skills. In this chapter, minimum geriatric competencies needed to perform the CGA as well as methods of design, plan and evaluation of teaching are presented.
