Abstract

When studying a particular field or social space, sociologists increasingly use geometric data analysis (GDA) (for example: Lebaron and Le Roux 2015). However, analyzing a subset of a whole sample or a population with this kind of method raises several sociological and methodological questions, which will be the focus of this chapter.
