Abstract

Many aquatic animals like fish have particular resistance for surviving underwater. The environment has to satisfy certain parameters. The fish ponds have to be visited every day and monitored for health fish production. The aqua culturing should have good water quality. The water quality is monitored by using underwater sensor and machine communication. This reduces the surveying of basic parameters required for aqua culturing. In this paper the practical concepts of Internet of Things (IOT) is used for aqua culturing. It is boosting the activities faster with the help of sensor deployment. At present there is problem in fast retrieval of the data to the consumers. It is difficult if aqua farms are far away and consumer has to be dependent on location for satisfying the environmental parameters. To overcome this issues ESP8266 Wi-Fi module is used. It deals with communicating with underwater sensors. This Wi-fi has GPS and mobile communication inbuilt in it. Later the ESP8266 is connected to the server and data is analyzed using PHP/CSS and stored in database for further reference. Future work can be extended to use the IOT Systems in different platforms by adding extra parameters according to individual aquatic species.
