Abstract

The impact of industrial production of materials upon the environment was investigated. The processing of materials usually involved several steps that led to pollution at some stage. Several processes even left remains of hazardous materials and proper extraction or recycling was required to avoid this. Example of production of phosphate fertilizers along with the process of environmental degradation was discussed and the respective remedies were prescribed.
