Severe Local Storms: In Retrospect

Abstract

In this postscript to the Monograph on Severe Local Storms we shall try to bring into sharper focus for the reader the highlights of the individual contributions, to relate them one to another, and thereby to obtain an integrated picture of the state of our knowledge of severe local storms. While objectivity is our goal, the final picture is necessarily the one seen through our eyes and thus possibly biased by our own experiences.
