Abstract

To identify the evidence in the contemporary scientific literature regarding the Quality of Life of people submitted to coronary artery bypass grafting. Method: Integrative Review, by searching the databases PubMed / MEDLINE, SCOPUS, LILACS and SCIELO, from 2013 to 2018. Results: The sample consisted of 43 articles. The articles were classified into three categories: risk factors related to coronary artery disease; scales used to assess health-related quality of life; and quality of life of people undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting. Conclusion: In this review it was found that the most widely used scale for assessing quality of life in people undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting was the SF-36 generic scale, that the interest in the subject is multidimensional and multiprofessional. Myocardial revascularization surgery has a positive impact on quality of life.
