Abstract

The author gives an account of two surveys in psychodynamics of work, one was made in a public organization, one in a commercial enterprise at the employers and trade unions request, confronted with « violence » problems or harassment complaints. « Clans war » finally appear as a flare-up of interpersonal rivalries when organization and social values of work are failing. It turns out that these « faults » of work and this « war » are exploited, in order to disguise and avoid dispute about the painful political and economical strategies, in which company managers and employees are involved in different ways.
