Count point method and mist nest were used for birds’ census in Besso national forest. Total richness of birds was 170 species belonging to 40 families of 15 orders. Five orders represent 79.29 % of all birds observed. Eight families represent 49.70 % of the specific richness. Pycnonotidae family, with almost 17 species, is the most diversify. These birds were from different biogeography origins, but were mainly residents and preferred the forest habitat.
