Abstract

Hormone analyses are an essential diagnostic tool in the gynecological practice. Cycle monitoring as well as the differential diagnostics of cycle disorders can only be performed on the basis of hormone analysis. The assessment of ovarian function is not possible without targeted laboratory diagnostic tests. This article presents the principles of endocrinological diagnostics for the daily routine in the gynecological practice.
