Abstract

E-government is one of the major forms of government informatization. It has played an important role in the rural areas of some Asian countries. This article gives an analysis of e-government application in some rural areas in Asia and the status of e-government application in rural China, and gets some enlightenment to solve our problems. © 2008 International Federation for Information Processing.
